' 7 Deadly Sins'

Order of Appearance: Wrath, Sloth, Envy, Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Pride.
This project tackles the popular and frequently explored idea of the 7 Deadly Sins, with a twist! It escapes from the over used ideas of human expression and instead employs the idea of objectivity. The background is clean and simple so as not to detract from the foreground which subtly and elegantly tells the story of each individual sin.
The simplistic wine glasses lend themselves to be altered and manipulated, whilst creating a pleasant sense of unity through this sequence; even though there are obvious differences between each one. This injection of the ordinary is in contrast to the deep red wine which evokes passion and emotion, two things needed to commit any sin.
These images do not easily reveal which sin they are portraying, which I think makes each one that bit more interesting and exciting to look at.
